The building has been completely gutted and is undergoing extensive restoration works which include renewal of oak flooring and staircases and high level lime pointing. Also of note is the replacement of the existing oak water spout depicting the head of a dragon crafted by our very own Billy Johnson. This project has proved challenging as the existing fabric needs to be incorporated into a workable using space. Jenkinson Builders have been working closely with ecologists to ensure that any resident wildlife is looked after sufficiently.

Sympathetic restoration of the A Frame trusses was carried out. We were also able to salvage the ancient Oak and Elm floor boarding to the main bedroom.

Also included in the restoration works was the replacement of the stone tiles to the unique Dove Cots. Extensive restoration works was also carried out on the adjoining barns requiring complete renewal of the road side elevation of stone work.
